Sara Morrison Greathouse - Obituary

ara Morrison Greathouse was called home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ early Saturday morning, April 6th, 2019. She was 88 years of age. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Leroy Greathouse, her youngest son Robert Wayne Greathouse and her five siblings. She is survived by her sons Donald Stuart Greathouse and Richard Dennis Greathouse and her daughter Donna Greathouse Workman along with their families. She is also survived by her dear friend Sue Phagan who devotedly cared for her in her later years. Sara loved to garden and had a yard that anyone would be proud of but her humble nature, of course, would not allow that. She loved to spend time with her family, enjoying the present and reminiscing about the past. She loved to laugh. Above all, she loved her Lord and Savior, His ministry, her family and friends. She will be remembered as a woman of faith, dignity and compassion. She will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, the family knows that Sara would prefer contributions be made to her church, Independent Baptist Church, P.O. Box 206, Clinton, MD 20735. Her family requests that those contributions be marked "In Loving Memory of Mrs. Sara M. Greathouse".
