Sarah Pope - Obituary

arah Cathryn Pope, 78, a 24-year resident of Melbourne, FL, died Monday, April 29 at her daughter's residence in Deale, MD. Born on February 10, 1935 in Burlington, NC to the late Walter and Estelle Troxler. She enjoyed playing golf and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, John C. Pope; son, John E. Pope; three daughters, Cathryn A. Reed, Sharon K. Smith, and Tracy L. Pope; brother Henry Troxler, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Highway, Annapolis, MD 21401.
