carlett Arlene Robinson was born on July 6, 1948 in Mt. Dora, Florida to Florine White and the late Jesse Scott Sr. She began her education at Milner Rosenwald Academy and graduated from Eustis Vocational High School in Eustis, Florida. She went on to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration Technology in 2004 from Bowie State University in Bowie, Maryland.
She was a computer programmer and analyst at the Federal Communication Commission and later taught technology for Prince George’s County Public Schools.
She met her husband, the late Jerome William Robinson, over 30 years ago when she was employed by the Federal Communication Commission. They were married on February 2, 1980 in Rochester, New York and they made their home in Fort Washington, Maryland. They are the parents of five children and the grandparents of three grandchildren.
She left to cherish her memories five children, Akara Hatcher, Kelcey (Cynthia) Hatcher, William (Terria Davis) Robinson, Rachill Robinson, and Malcolm Robinson; grandchildren, Nathan Hatcher, Dallas Robinson and Torrin Robinson; a loving mother Florine White; two sisters, Vivian (Eddie) Sparks and Forrestine (Andrew) Green; four brothers, Jesse (Angie) Scott Jr. Larry (Faye) Scott, Maurice White, and Angelo (Theresa) White; a mother-in-law, Ruby Robinson; two sister-in-laws, Sharon (Raymond) Hawkins and Janet Robinson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends from Mount Dora and other areas.
