Scott Fraser - Obituary

cott Fraser, 74, a resident of Riva, MD and previously of Upper Saddle River, NJ, died on April 2, 2024 in Annapolis, MD. Born on April 10, 1949 in Newark, NJ to the late Ruth and Ray Fraser, Scott served his country as a member of the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. He owned and operated his own Home Construction and Remodeling business for over 30 years. Retiring to the Annapolis area, Scott was the ultimate handyman who enjoyed making beautiful homes for his family and friends. He was a proud member of the Annapolis Sons & Daughters of Italy and always enjoyed the camaraderie when participating in lodge events and social activities. In his spare time, Scott enjoyed boating on the South River motoring about in his Ranger Tug and he especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. Scott is survived by his wife of 48 years, Cecile Fraser; his son, Daniel (Kelly) Fraser of Riva, MD; his grandchildren, Anna and Jameson and his sisters, Judy Bell of Tennessee, Gina (Robert) Courter of Glenwood, NJ and Diane Nowoslawski of Melbourne, FL. A graveside service will be held at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery, 1122 Sunrise Beach Rd., Crownsville, MD on Friday, April 12 at 10 am.
