Scottie W Tillison - Obituary

cottie Tillison, a 10-year resident of Edgewater and previously of Mississippi, passed away August 26, 2018. He was born in Fayetteville, NC on December 10, 1971. Scottie will be remembered for how he lived. He enjoyed boating, traveling, cooking, beating the drums and dancing (even if he wasn't that good). Friends also knew that Scottie was always up for an adventure. Scottie most recently was an OTR (over the road) flat bed trucker with Prime, Inc. Scottie is survived by his son, Bradley Tillison of Efland, NC; his mother, Gilda (Elliott) Woods of Edgewater; his father, Roger Tillison; two sisters, Michele Harris of Glen Burnie and Kasey (Travis)Coleman of Centerville, MD; three nieces, Sarah Harris, Rebecca Smith, and Teagan Coleman; a nephew, Tanner Coleman; and his long time girl friend, Jayme Forster. Friends are invited to celebrate Scottie's life on Saturday, September 1, 2018 from 1 to 3 pm at the Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you pay forward an act of kindness and generosity in honor of Scottie.
