Sewell P. Edwards - Obituary

ewell Pharr Edwards, Jr., “Ed”, of Annapolis, MD, passed away on August 4, 2023 at the age of 80. He was born on July 5, 1943 in Atlanta, GA to the late Dorothy and Sewell P. Edwards, Sr. Ed served in the U.S. Army during the early 1960s and then pursued a career as an engineer for the National Security Agency. He enjoyed reading, working in his yard and, most of all, spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his son, Matthew and brother, Thomas. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Lynn A. Edwards; his daughter, Claudia (Donald) Sitarski of Fox River Grove, IL; and four grandsons, Thomas Edwards, Sam Sitarski, Jack Sitarski and Joseph Edwards. Services will be private.
