Sharon Ann Nelson - Obituary

haron Nelson, 68, a 38-year resident of Glen Burnie, MD passed away on March 11, 2023. She was born on November 13, 1954 in Baltimore, MD to the late Howard and Betty White. Sharon graduated from Anne Arundel Community College before becoming an office administrator for the Baltimore Sun where she enjoyed a fulfilling career until her retirement. She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Bruce Nelson; two children, Chrissy Leary and her husband, Evan, Sr. of Edgewater, MD and Lisa Nelson of Ijamsville, MD; her brother Howard White and his wife, Dorothy; four grandchildren, Evan, Jr. and Hope Leary, Austin and Rachael Heffner; one niece, Jennifer D’Andrea, her husband, Christopher and their child, Ryan; one nephew, Jason White and his significant other, Karen Hoff. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Sharon’s life with her family on Monday, March 27, from 3 to 5pm at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD.
