Sharron Pointer - Obituary

harron K. Pointer, 49, a resident of Upper Marlboro, MD died on June 10, 2009 at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C. Born September 3, 1959 in Bourne, Massachusetts, she graduated from California State University San Bernardino with a Bachelors degree in Administration and from the University of Maryland with a Masters degree in Computer Science. Ms. Sharron Pointer was a member of St. Philips the Apostle Parish in Camp Springs, MD. On her free time she enjoyed laughing, reading and spending time with her daughter. She was the devoted mother of Jordan Alexis Bobo of Upper Marlboro, MD; survived by her two loving parents Faye and Jesse Pointer of Rialto, CA. ; sister of Robin Pointer of Las Vegas, NV and Regina Pointer of Oceanside, CA.; Loving relatives Ron and Dr. Beverly Taylor of Memphis, TN; Brenda Jackson and family of Baton Rouge, LA. She leaves a host of cherished friends in Maryland and The District of Columbia. Friends and family are invited to Sharron's Homecoming Celebration on Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at 10:00 am at St Philip the Apostle Parish, 5416 Henderson Way, Camp Springs, MD 20746. The viewing will be at 9:00 am and there will be a repast following mass. Sharron will be buried at Mountain View Cemetery in San Bernardino, Ca, alongside her maternal grandparents.
