Sheri E. Rancourt - Obituary

heri Elizabeth Rancourt, 69, a 44-year resident of Davidsonville, MD, died on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. Born on August 16, 1955 in Washington, DC, Sheri was a graduate of Bowie High School. She was a devoted mother and homemaker, as well as a talented interior designer. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Lamont Bennett and Bettye Champagne, Sheri was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Michael Rancourt. She is survived by her children, Heather (Brad) Leahy of West River, MD, Nicole Rancourt of Annapolis, MD, and Michael Rancourt, Jr. of Queenstown, MD, and her beloved granddaughters, Harper and Sylvie Leahy. A private burial will be held at Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville and a Celebration of Life will be arranged at a later date.
