Sherry Marin - Obituary

herry M. Marin, age 78 and a resident of the Heritage Harbour community in Annapolis died on Friday August 29, at Anne Arundel Medical Center. Mrs. Marin was born in New London, Connecticut and after graduating from Mary Washington College, became a proud Navy wife making a home for her family wherever they were stationed volunteering her time and supporting all aspects of the military life. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Captain William T. Marin, USN Ret., her beloved children William T. "Chip” Marin Jr. of Titusville, Florida, Claudia M. Shull of Springfield, Virginia and the late Johnathan A. Marin who died in 1983. She is the sister of Connie Dorsey of New Haven Connecticut and Larry McEwen of Walnut Creek, California. She is also survived by her two granddaughters, Antonia and Pamela Shull. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 15, at 10:30AM at the U.S. Naval Academy Main Chapel. Inurnment will follow at the USNA Columbarium.
