HIRLEY T. TIPPETT (Age 86) Of Friendly, MD for over 80 years died on September 15, 2009. Beloved wife of late Elmer H. Tippett, Sr., who died in 1996; devoted mother of Elmer (Bernadette) H. Tippett, Jr.; grandmother of Dr. Vickie L. Tippett, R. Scott Tippett and Jennifer A. Hedeman; great-grandmother of Brendon A. Tippett and Gwen and Chloe Hedeman. Friends are invited to Shirley's Life Celebration at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD on Sunday, September 20 from 1 to 4pm. A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 21 at 10am at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suitland, MD. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Providence-Fort Washington United Methodist Church, 10610 Old Fort Road, Fort Washington, MD 20744.
