Sophie Catherine "Kate" Kwitkoski - Obituary

ophie Catherine “Kate” Kwitkoski, 97, a 63-year resident of Clinton, MD, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2022 at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Spa Creek in Annapolis, MD. Born on January 3, 1925 in Cambria County, PA to the late Adam and Louise Suchowiecki, Kate graduated from Sayreville High School in Parlin, NJ. She took great pride in being a military wife and mother, providing a comfortable home for her family and supporting them in all their pursuits. Kate was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Clinton. She was a passionate golfer and bowler; she also enjoyed working in her yard. Kate was preceded in death by her loving husband, Walter John Kwitkoski who passed away in 2012. She is survived by three children, Gary and John of Manassas, VA and Cheryl (Stephen) Moreland of Crofton, MD; and a granddaughter, Amanda Moreland.
