Stephanie Noëlle Mendoza - Obituary

tephanie “Steph” Noëlle Mendoza, age 55, a resident of Edgewater, MD, passed peacefully at her home on December 11, 2022. She was born June 10, 1967, to Marie-Noelle Griest and the late James F. Griest. Steph earned her degree in culinary arts under the tutelage of Roland Mesnier. She went on to become a pastry chef, where she met her husband Louis Mendoza, to whom she was married to for 31 years. Steph also enjoyed scrapbooking, drawing, collecting, and loved animals. Known as an empathetic person, she always was willing to go out of her way for others. A passionate “Dance Mom”, she loved supporting her community. In addition to her mother Marie-Noelle, she is survived by her husband Louis; her daughters Céline Marie-Suzanne and Allison Rachel Mendoza; and two brothers, James F. Griest Jr. and Steven Griest.
