Stephen E. Batchelor - Obituary

tephen Batchelor, "Steve," a 41-year resident of Davidsonville, MD, died on June 4, 2018, in Annapolis, MD. Born July 18, 1967, in Riverdale, MD, Steve attended The Culinary Institute of America, New York and was currently earning his bachelors degree from University of Maryland University College in addiction counseling. He previously worked with the Hyatt Regency Hotel organization in Maui, HI and currently the Eastport Yacht Club for the past four years. Steven honorably served in the United States Navy. He enjoyed cooking, gardening, and counseling. Steve is survived by his parents, William "Buck" and Brenda "Faye" Batchelor; a son, Riley Batchelor of Davidsonville, MD; and a sister, Cindy Isely of Poquoson, VA. Friends are invited to celebrate Steve's life on Friday, June 8 from 6 to 8 pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD.
