On January 18, 2013 Stephen G. DeCoste of Annapolis, MD died after a brief illness.
 
Born April 18, 1941 in Cambridge, MA, he then moved with his family to Beltsville, MD where he attended High Point High School after which he joined the US Navy as a sonar technician.
 
Steve worked 30 years for Verizon (previously C&P Telephone) in Adelphi, MD as a training instructor. He was a sponsor with Alcoholics Anonymous for over 10 years.
 
Steve enjoyed hunting, fishing and bicycle riding.
 
Steve is survived by two daughters Theresa Rowland of Annapolis, MD and Michelle Phibbons of Davidsonville, MD and 4 grand children, David, Elise, Lauren and Megan.
 
A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 25th at 11:30AM at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, 1122 Sunrise Beach Road, Crownsville, MD. In lieu of flowers donation maybe made to Alcoholics Anonymous, 8635 Loch Raven Blvd., Suite 4, Baltimore MD 21286.
