Stephen Lee Horodyski - Obituary

tephen (Steve) Lee Horodyski, a resident of Edgewater, MD, died on Wednesday, December 13, 2023. Born May 6, 1955, in Washington, D.C., to the late Stephen and Norma Horodyski, he attended Suitland High School in District Heights, MD. Steve left his corporate real estate career behind and decided to start his own business in order to spend more time with his two daughters that he adored. He opened Annapolis Home Inspection Services Inc. in 2002 and retired from the company in 2022. Steve was also the Treasurer of the Maryland Association of Home Inspectors. Steve was preceded in death by his mother and father, Norma and Stephen Horodyski. He is survived by his brother, John Horodyski, his brother, Allen Horodyski, his sister, Cheryl Smith, his daughter, Crystal Horodyski, his daughter, Amanda Horodyski, and his grand-daughter, Natalie Burke. Steve was a dedicated member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church and enjoyed the community that church had to offer. Everyone who knew Steve knew how much he loved walking and he could frequently be found doing laps around Riva Park. Steve will always be remembered for his great sense of humor and the way that he could make anyone laugh. His final request was to be wearing his shirt that stated “You can’t scare me, I have daughters.” We couldn’t have asked for a better dad, and will miss him every day. His memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved him.
