Stephen L. Schrup - Obituary

tephen L. Schrup, 49, died on Thursday, May 4 at his home in Annapolis, MD surrounded by his family following a courageous battle with cancer. Steve was born on December 14, 1967 to Karen and the late Thomas Schrup in Dubuque, Iowa. In 1983 he moved with his parents to Annapolis, MD where he graduated from St. Mary's High School and attended Salisbury University. He worked for many years as a craftsman in the Annapolis area. Steve is survived by his loving fiance, Meredith Kennedy; his son, Gunner Schrup; his mother, Karen (Chuck) Wicker; his sister, Susan (Chip) Piekenbrock; his brother, Dr. Thomas (Myra) Schrup and several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to celebrate Steve's life on Sunday, May 7 from 12 pm until his memorial service begins at 2 pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD.
