Stephen Turton - Obituary

tephen Roger”Steve” Turton , 44, a resident of Annapolis and formerly of Annandale, Va., died Monday, November 29, 2010 at the Mandrin Chesapeake Hospice House in Harwood from cancer. Steve was born in Salisbury, Md. on September 28, 1966 to Raymond and the late Lois Turton. He graduated from Annapolis High School in 1984 and attended Anne Arundel Community College where he received an Associates Degree in Business Administration in 1986. Two years later he received his BA Degree in Finance from the University of Baltimore. Steve spent most of his life working in Northern Virginia in the mortgage banking and finance field. He enjoyed sports, the beach and spending time with family and friends. Besides his father, Raymond, who resides in New Orleans, La, he is survived by his brother, Richard Turton of Edgewater, his sister, Michelle Every of Riva and niece, Kailin Turton also of Riva. Friends are invited to Steve’s Life Celebration on Friday, December 3 from 12 noon until service time at 1:00 p.m. at George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD. Interment Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Hwy., Annapolis, MD 21401.
