Steven Fischer - Obituary

teven “Steve” Paul Fischer, 57, a lifetime resident of Annapolis, MD died on February 8, 2010 at his is home of a heart attack. Born September 25, 1952 in Annapolis, MD to the late Rita and Joseph Fischer, he graduated from Annapolis Senior High School in 1970 and from Anne Arundel Community College with an Associate of Arts degree. Steve was employed for the State of Maryland for 29 years in Information Technologies. Steven was a lifelong, die hard Redskin Fan; enjoyed travelling, especially to Las Vegas and to his beach home in Bethany Beach. He was a longtime supporter of Toys for Tots and other charities. Steve enjoyed photography, including photographing many space shuttle take-offs. He was the beloved brother of Kathryn A. Domino of Lothian, MD; devoted uncle of Katelyn M. Domino of Lothian, MD. Friends are invited to Steve's Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD on Friday, February 12, 2010 from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm, where services will be held on Saturday, February 13 at 12pm. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Neurofibromatosis, Inc., P.O. Box 66884, Chicago, IL 60666.
