Steven Maurice Greene - Obituary

teven Maurice Greene of Oxon Hill, Maryland passed away peacefully at his home on October 12, 2025, at the age of 60. Steven was the only child born to Frank and Helen Greene. Entering this life on March 5, 1965, Steven was a lifelong resident of Oxon Hill. After graduation from high school, Steven attended Brevard College in North Carolina for two years before returning to Maryland to work with the United States Capitol Police in 1988. Steven dedicated 37 years of his life serving the USCP, starting as a Communications Dispatcher and rising to Operations Support Assistant before retiring in 2025. Steven will always be remembered for his positive outlook on life. He was described as “smiling with his eyes” every time he talked to people about work, the Redskins/Commanders, or the latest superhero movies. Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Helen. He leaves behind extended family and dear friends spanning the eastern seaboard of the United States.
