Steven William Oxman, 63, of Annapolis, Maryland passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Thursday, August 8, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Judith Rachel Oxman for 40 years. Born in Boston on December 6, 1949, he was the loving son of Natalie Weinstein Oxman and Robert Oxman. He was the devoted father of Charles Michael Muise, Philip Charles Oxman, and Warren Lucas Oxman, and grandfather of Allan Muise. Steve leaves behind two sisters and their husbands, Marilyn and Bruce LaBossiere and Mindy and Timothy Renfro.Steve will be missed by his aunt, Mildred Altman,his cousins, Nancy Klemens and Richard Blacher, his nephews Jonathan and Michael LaBossiere, Matthew Wentzell, Dylan and Evan Turner, and Zachary Davis. He will be missed by daughter-in-laws Tracey Muise and Tricia Oxman, by Katie Toffolo, fiancée of his son Warren, by his mother-in-law Blossom Irene Kislin and his brother-in-law Robert Ian Kislin. Steve was pre-deceased by his father-in-law Benjamin Kislin and his sister-in-law Laura Ellen Davis.
 
Steve graduated from Natick High School in 1967. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in 1975 from the University ofMaryland University College in Germany. Steve earned a Master’s degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 1982 and another Master’s degree from Troy University in 1984. Steve served in the United States Air Force from 1971 to 1975 and he will be buried with full military honors in San Antonio, Texas.
 
At the time of his passing, Steve was working for the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Navy as an Operations Research Analyst, specializing in Cost Analysis for Major Acquisition Information Systems Programs. Prior to this position, Steve was the owner and president of OXKO Corporation, an information systems software development company which he founded in 1985.
 
Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service and viewing for Steve at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD, on Friday, August 9th, at 2:00pm or attend a viewing on Sunday, August 11th, from 2:00pm-5:00pm.
 
Memorial donations in Steve’s name may be made to the cancer research facility of your choice.
