Sue Ellen Dyal - Obituary

ue Ellen Dyal, 61, a 10-year resident of Crofton, MD and previously of Arnold, MD died at Anne Arundel Medical Center on November 24, 2010 of cancer after an 8 month illness. Born June 17, 1949 in Annapolis, MD, Sue Ellen graduated from Annapolis Senior High School in 1967. Sue Ellen was employed as a secretary with the State of Maryland from 1967-95 and as a cashier with Fitzgerald Auto Mall from 1997-2007. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Davidsonville, MD and was a member of the Jubalatee Singers. Sue Ellen was the beloved wife of the late Royal Dyal, Jr., whom she married in 1973 and who died in 1999; stepmother of Royal Dyal, III, Gayla Pruitt and Leasa Perez Garrett; sister of Alfred “Sonny” Miller, Jr. of Easton, MD and Dottie Miller of Crofton, MD. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to Sue Ellen’s Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD on Sunday from 5 to 8pm, where funeral services will be held on Monday, November 29 at 10am. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery.
