ue Kathleen Willsey, 62, a 25-year resident of Harwood, died February 20 at the Anne Arundel Medical Center following a battle with cancer. She was born on November 21, 1950 in Washington, DC to the late Chester and Mildred Biggs. Sue was an assistant front end manager for the Giant Food in Edgewater. She loved taking cruises, crocheting and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Gene, whom she married in 1994; two daughters, Michele Marie (Clyde) Evans of Tuttle, OK and Dawn Christine (Pete) Dean of Ft. Belvoir, VA; brother Mike Biggs of Huntingtown; and four grandchildren, Nicholas, Nathan and Ashley Dean, and Milla Evans.
Friends are invited to Sue’s Memorial Gathering from 1 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, February 23, at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater. Interment private.
