Susan White Allen, 67, a 9-year resident of Davidsonville and previously of El Lago, TX, passed away at her home on January 20, 2017, with her husband and one of her nieces by her side.  Born on March 13, 1949, in Bangor, ME to the late Edward and Irene White, Susan received an Associate of Applied Science degree from San Jacinto College in Pasadena, TX.  She enjoyed cooking, reading and working on crossword puzzles.  

In addition to her parents, Susan was preceded in death by her sisters, Judy Pfefferman and Deborah Grantham, and a stepson William J. Allen.  Susan is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, William C. Allen; stepson, Matthew J. Allen of Houston, TX and seven nieces.  

Friends are invited to celebrate Susan’s life on Saturday, January 28 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater.  A Memorial Mass will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 826 W. Central Avenue, Davidsonville.  Burial will be private.
