Susan Lee Beary, 85, an eight year resident of Brightview South River and previously of the Heritage community in Annapolis, died July 7, 2025 at Brightview.   Born in Danville, VA to the late Norman Bell and Georgia Lee (Gose) Pfeiffer, Susan earned her Masters in Education and was a longtime teacher in the Anne Arundel County School system at Central Elementary, Central Middle and Hillsmere Elementary schools.   Susan’s love of traveling took her all over the world, and she also enjoyed training dogs and going to dog shows.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander Beary and her two sons, Lee and William Ellington.
Susan is survived by her family of the heart:  Allison Charapp and her husband Carl Charapp of Annapolis and their children, Jacek Charapp of Annapolis and Ely Charapp of Boca Raton, FL;  and Beth Giuliano of Seaford, DE and her children, Gino Giuliano and Johanna Henson, both of Seaford.
