Susan L. Curley - Obituary

usan Lauring Curley, “Sue”, 86, a 20-year resident of Annapolis and previously of Eugene, Oregon, passed away on December 29, 2025, in Columbia, MD. Sue was born on September 5, 1939, in Los Angeles, CA, to the late Arthur and Celia LaVove. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University in Long Beach, CA, and received a Master of Science degree in public policy from the University of Oregon. She worked as a policy specialist for both Lockheed Martin Aero & Naval Systems and for NASA. She was a member of Mt. Harmony United Methodist Church in Lothian, MD. She was an avid, lifelong swimmer, watercolor artist, and historic preservationist. She is survived by her daughters, Melinda and Gail; her brothers, Timothy and Michael; and her grandsons, Dominic and Peter. All services will be private at this time.
