Susann Boyd Locy - Obituary

usann Boyd Locy, 74, a 50-year resident of Edgewater, passed away on Friday, August 31, 2018. Susann was born in Washington, DC to the late Thomas and Marguerite Gardiner on June 22, 1944. She was a graduate of Bladensburg High School. Susann owned and operated the Sign-A-Rama in Glen Burnie for 20-years. She attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, and Services at Chesapeake Christian Fellowship. Susann enjoyed horseback riding, scuba diving, traveling and refurbishing furniture for resale. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. Susann is survived by her children, Robin (Jeff) Kidwell of West River, MD, Ronald (Lisa) Locy, Jr of Harper's Ferry, WV; five grandchildren, Randy Locy, Joshua Kidwell, Jordan Woodard, Dallas Locy and Anya Locy. She is also survived by her sisters, Diana Pointek and JoAnne (Norman) Stone. Friends are invited to celebrate Susann's life on Saturday, September 8, 2018 from 10 am until her service begins at 11 am at the Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD. Interment is private.
