Suzanne Bowen - Obituary

uzanne Latimer Bowen, 75, a 10-year resident of St. Leonard, MD, died July 1, 2012 at Anne Arundel Medical Center. She was born on June 3, 1937 in Olney, MD. She was a flight attendant in the U.S. Navy, flying with the VR52 and VR48 squadrons. She was discharged in 1984 with the rank of AKC. Suzanne retired from the Naval Air Facility in Washington, DC where she had served as the Assistant Comptroller. She was interested in all sorts of arts and crafts but her greatest passion was spending time with her grandchildren. Suzanne was preceded in death by one brother, John S. Latimer. She is survived by three children, Monica Kilsheimer of Annapolis, John Bowen, III of St. Leonard and Candis Bowen of Prince Frederick; one brother, Thomas R. Latimer of St. Leonard; one sister, Betsy Latimer-Hillery of Davidsonville and five grandchildren, Brandon and Casey Kilsheimer, Katie and Bethany Bowen and Sarah M. Baxter. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Seasons Hospice, 6934 Aviation Blvd. #N, Glen Burnie, MD 21061.
