uzandrea “Suzie” Muhlmeister, 58, died on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at Anne Arundel Medical Center.
Suzie was born and raised in Annapolis, MD and was a sixth generation Annapolitan. Her mother Lorraine Bothe was a founder of the “Providence Center” now located in Arnold, MD, a workplace for those with special needs. Suzie attended Providence Center since it first began in 1961. She retired in 2010 due to health issues. She lived at Langton Green, a home for the disabled, in the Arundel on the Bay area for the past 27 years. She loved her weekends at home with her stepfather and mother. Suzie always brought so much joy to her family and friends. She enjoyed music, especially “The Beatles”, coloring books and crayons and loved all animals. Her favorites were dogs and cats. She loved riding around Annapolis with her sister Barbara listening to music in the car. She has a beautiful soul and she will be deeply missed.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Catherine “Lorraine” Bothe and her stepfather, Edward B. Bothe.
Suzie is survived by her father, Joseph G. Muhlmeister of San Diego, CA; a sister, Sharon M. Latham of Fountain Hills, AZ; a stepsister, Barbara J. Bothe of Millsboro, DE; a stepbrother, Steven Bothe of Fairfax, VA; a niece, Lisa M. Taylor of Annapolis, MD; a nephew, Phillip Bothe of Fairfax, VA.
Friends are invited to Suzie’s Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 from 11am until time of service at 12pm. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery.
