iven by God on September 30, 1984 to Terri Lynn White and returned to God on July 5, 2022 Taron Raphael White Sr. was the eldest son to Terri Lynn White and after his mother's passing, was adopted by his grandmother LaVerne Ward-White. Taron Sr. was baptized in Our Lady Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Taron Sr. had a profound sense of loyalty for his grandmother LaVerne Ward-White for whom he dearly loved and appreciated very much. Taron Sr. graduated from Oxon Hill High School in the Class of 2002. Throughout his life he learned to play the flute, volunteered regularly throughout the community, enjoyed competitive tennis, soccer, and his favorite basketball. Taron Sr. took classes at Livingstone College in Salisbury, NC and Kaplan University online. He also worked for the US Postal Service and eventually explored entrepreneurial opportunities in the field of home restoration and remodeling. In 2011,Taron Sr. faced an extreme challenge when an unfortunate accident left him partially paralyzed. Despite, having to endure unimaginable obstacles Taron had the heart and soul of a warrior. He continued to fight through multiple setbacks no matter what. He found strength in loving his son, Taron Jr. Taron, Sr. is survived by his son, Taron Raphael White, Jr.; sisters, Shauntia Ward White (Bethesda, MD) and Jenee White-Jones (Temple Hills, MD); brother, Daamar Saadiq (Louisville, KY); nephew, Saamir Saadiq (Louisville, KY); uncle, Gregory Eugene White, Jr. (Waldorf, MD) and aunt, Deborah Anne White (Waldorf, MD); and will be missed by first and second cousins, great-aunts and uncles, friends, and all who knew him.
