Terese Marie Proud, “Terry”, 70, a 40-year resident of Forestville and previously of Riverdale, MD, passed away on October 24, 2021 at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis.

Terry was born on February 12, 1951 in Washington, DC to the late John E. and Grace Reilly Proud. She was a 1969 graduate of Bladensburg High School and was a graduate of the LPN program at Prince Georges Hospital in 1971.She worked as a nurse for Dr. Champaloux in Upper Marlboro for many years. She loved nursing and caring for her patients. Terry’s interests included gardening, dogs, cats, baking, cooking, collecting dolls and shopping on Amazon.

She is survived by her husband of 2 years, Charles Satterfield, her siblings; Kathryn Johnson of Richmond, VA, Wayne Proud of Edgewater, MD, Mary Proud Wheeler of Grasonville, MD, and John Proud of Lily Lake, PA. She also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews.

Terry was dearly loved by many and will be greatly missed.
