Terry L. Riley - Obituary

erry L. Riley, 80, a 53-year resident of Edgewater and previously of Annapolis, MD, passed away on June 27, 2022 after a 2-year illness. Born on September 11, 1941 in Altoona, PA to the late Edna and Joseph Riley II, Terry was a 1959 graduate of Annapolis High School and a U.S. Army veteran. He was owner and broker of Riley and Associates Co., a real estate agency in Edgewater, MD, and a member of Riva Trace Baptist Church in Davidsonville, MD. Terry was an accomplished drummer. He enjoyed music and was a two-time inductee to the Maryland Entertainment Hall of Fame. He also enjoyed fishing, crabbing and gardening. Most of all, he loved his family and simply spending time with them. Terry is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Siretta C. Riley; two devoted daughters, Terri Pessutti of Princeton, NJ and Heather Konkal of Murphy, TX; three brothers, Jack Riley of Ocean Springs, MS, Dick Riley of Lake Suzy, FL and John Riley of Stevensville, MD; one sister, Peggy Mercier of Severna Park, MD; five grandsons, Jack and Peter Pessutti and Krue, Noah and Brooks Konkal ; and one granddaughter, Marah Konkal. Friends are invited to pay their respects and visit with Terry’s family from 4 to 7 PM on Friday, July 1 at Riva Trace Baptist Church, 475 W. Central Avenue, Davidsonville, MD where Terry’s funeral service will be held at 12 PM on Saturday, July 2. Burial will follow at Lakemont Memorial Gardens in Davidsonville.
