helma W. Beall, 101, a 20-year resident of Annapolis, Maryland and previously of Davidsonville passed away on December 31, 2025 at Anne Arundel Medical Center from natural causes. Born on October 17, 1924 in Upper Marlboro, Maryland to the late George A. Wyvill and Beatrice A. Wyvill, she graduated from Upper Marlboro High School in 1942. Thelma worked for the Federal Government from 1942 to 1945, before becoming President of Ledo Pizza Systems. She was a parishioner at Holy Family Catholic Church. In her spare time, Thelma was an avid reader and enjoyed eating out. A devoted homemaker, she loved being with her children grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and was overjoyed to welcome her two great-great-grandsons. In addition to her parents, Thelma was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, Robert L. Beall, and her siblings, William A. Wyvill, George “Jack” Wyvill, and Alice Wells. She is survived by her children, Robert M. Beall (Margaret Kilby Beall) of Palm Beach Garden, FL, Mildred L. Beall of Davidsonville, MD, and Thelma “Bea” Beall of Davidsonville, MD; her brother, Donald J. Wyvill of Upper Marlboro, MD; her grandchildren, Robert G. Beall, Troy L. Beall, Garth E. Beall, Joseph A. Nye, James B. Beall, and Amy B. Schropp; fourteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Friends are invited to celebrate Thelma’s life on Sunday, January 4 from 4 to 6 pm at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, January 6 at 10:30 am at Holy Family Catholic Church, 826 W Central Avenue, Davidsonville, MD. Interment Lakemont Memorial Gardens.
