Thelma Cooper - Obituary

helma Louise Cooper, age 94, a 3 year resident of Harwood, MD, died on Monday, September 15 at Crofton Convalescent Center of natural causes. Thelma was born on November 15, 1913 in Washington, DC. She was a homemaker most of her life and she enjoyed crocheting and needlework. She was the beloved wife of the late Frederick C. Cooper, Sr., who died in 1969 and the beloved mother of the late Frederick C. Cooper, Jr. She is survived by 4 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Graveside service and interment will be held on Friday, September 19 at 1:00 P.M. at George Washington Cemetery, 9500 Riggs Rd., Adelphi, MD. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church, 826 W. Central Ave., Davidsonville, MD. Arrangements by George P. Kalas Funeral Home, Edgewater, MD.
