Theresa Angela Hardy - Obituary

heresa Angela Hardy (Age 78) of Potomac, MD, beloved wife of James Hardy since Oct. 7, 1967. Theresa passed away on September 19, 2026. She attended LaReine High School in Suitland, MD, graduating in 1966. Theresa retired from the Federal Government in 2004, following 37 years of service. She is survived by her sister, Bridgett Sheppard; and brother, John Hurley, both residents of Florida; her other sisters included the late Mary Cyr, Patricia Lewis, and Katherine Coleman. Relatives and friends are invited to Theresa’s Celebration of Life on Monday, September 28, 2026, from 2 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 8 P.M. at the KALAS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 6160 Oxon Hill Road, Oxon Hill, MD 20745. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at 10 A.M. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 8908 Old Branch Avenue, Clinton, MD 20735. Interment to be held immediately following the service at Epiphany Episcopal Church Cemetery, 3125 Ritchie Road, Forestville, MD 20747 at 11:30 A.M.
