heresa Rampolla, 91, of Annapolis and previously of Capitol Heights for 33 years, died of natural causes Sept. 27 at Riva Terrace III Assisted Living in Annapolis.
Born April 29, 1916, in Farmington, W.Va., Mrs. Rampolla worked as a nursing assistant for the Maryland state Home Health Department. She also was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Annapolis and a former member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Forestville. She loved to cook for her family, work crossword puzzles, play solitaire and watch family television shows.
Surviving are her son, Roger Rampolla of Beltsville; her daughter, Carolyn Schumaker of Annapolis; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater. A Mass of Christian burial will be said at 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 620 N. Bestgate Road. Burial will follow in Lakemont Memorial Gardens in Davidsonville.
