homas J. Cleary "Tom", 76, a resident of Annapolis, MD died on Sunday, July 29 at the Mandrin Inpatient Care Center in Harwood, MD. Born on September 22, 1941 in Washington, DC to the late Bill and Mary Cleary, Tom was a graduate of DeMatha Catholic High School. He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Margie Cleary; his children, Tommy (Michelle), Jay (Stephanie Hall) and Brian (Sokeng) Cleary and Katie (Scott) Gipe; his brothers, Bill, Jack, Jay and Brian; his sisters, Mary, Barbara and Teresa and his grandchildren, Logan, Sean, Hunter, Hayden, Hudson, Harrison, Jordan, Brian, Evan, Alden, Maddie, Rylie, Maria, Dasha, Emma and Rosie. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Timmy and Vince. Friends are invited to celebrate Tom's life on Thursday, August 2 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, August 3 at 11 AM at The Covenant Community of Jesus the Good Shepherd, 1601 W. Mount Harmony Rd., Owings, MD. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Chesapeake, 90 Ritchie Hwy., Pasadena, MD 21122.
