Thomas Harris - Obituary

homas Harris, 89, a fifty-seven year resident of Loch Haven in Edgewater, MD passed away on December 12, 2023. Born on June 2, 1934 in Providence, RI to the late Dorothy Arnold Harris MacColl and Thomas Harris, Sr., Tom was an avid boatsman, woodworker, reader and handyman. He loved to sail and he left many with great memories of sailing adventures, whether on water or ice. Tom is survived by his wife, Irene Harris; his children, Stephen (Jackie) Harris of Golden, CO, Sherian Nevil (Tom) Buller of Port Orange, FL, Christi Harris of Edgewater, MD and Beth Harris (John) Lascor of Centennial, CO; his sister, Sarah H. Pinney,10 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, 4 step-children, 9 step-grandchildren and 12 step great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sharlotte Nevil Stiller, his brother, Stephen C. Harris and his sister, Mary H. Clark. Friends are invited to celebrate Tom’s life at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Saturday, January 27 from 12 to 2 pm.
