Tom was a reserved, humble man. He was always very polite and friendly. He was a wonderful friend to many people. He was always willing to help people in simple ways. He would often do things like landscaping and yard work for neighbors. If he saw a need, he would help. Often without people having to ask for help. His bright smile will be missed. He was an avid sports fan, especially of basketball which he played very well. He was an encyclopedia of sports information on the professional, college and even local high school levels. Although he was usually quiet, he could engage in endless conversations about sports. He loved to travel around the US which he did often. Where ever he went, he always visited Catholic Churches. Tom’s Catholic Faith was very important to him. He was a faithful, Mass attending, practicing Catholic all of his life. He will be sorely missed by those who knew him.
