Thomas Vincent Reilly - Obituary

homas “Tom” Vincent Reilly, 76, died Monday, July 10, 2023 after a long illness. Tom was born in Orange, NJ, raised in West Milford, NJ, and graduated from St. Leo College in Florida. He was Chief Operating Officer for Trak Auto for many years, and later served in a senior management role at Auto Zone until he retired. Tom’s favorite place to be was the beach house on the Chesapeake Bay where he was an avid fisherman. He loved to play cards. Tom leaves behind his loving wife and best friend of 25 years, Mary Osbourn Reilly, and two daughters from his first marriage, Shannon (Chris) Cox of Davidsonville, MD and Erin (David) Fletcher of Shady Side, MD. Additionally, he is survived by five grandchildren, Tori (Derrick) Epley, Ryleigh (Wyatt) Johnson, Lauren Cox, Cole McMullen, and Noah Cox, as well as three great-grandchildren, Kayleigh, Liam, and Graham, and five siblings, Kathleen Hohmann Post of Naples, FL, Eileen Hornbostel of Olney, MD, Brian Reilly of Vernon, NJ, Christine Castronova of West Milford, NJ and Joanne Dieckman of Naples, FL. Memorial donations can be made to the University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenbaum Comprehensive Cancer Center, checks payable to: UMMS Foundation, P.O. Box 64573, Baltimore, MD 21298 (or online here). A Memorial mass will be held on Thursday, August 10 at 1:00 pm at Holy Family Catholic Church, 826 W Central Avenue, Davidsonville, MD.
