homas (“Tommy” or “TG”) Edwin Guy, 66, a lifelong resident of Annapolis, Maryland passed away peacefully at Anne Arundel Medical Center on November 7th, 2021 with his children by his side. Tommy was born to Clarence and Jessica Guy on January 18th, 1955. As a child, he enjoyed crabbing, playing baseball, riding dirt bikes, and going ice skating. He also liked boating and working on vehicles. Tommy attended St. Mary’s School through the eighth grade and then went on to attend Annapolis High School where he graduated in 1973. During his senior year of high school, he worked alongside his brother, David, as a volunteer firefighter for the West Annapolis Fire Department. After graduation, Tommy became a proud, dedicated employee of the U.S. Naval Academy, where he worked with the Midshipman Food Services Department as a line cook for 48 years. He enjoyed working alongside his co-workers and serving the midshipman. Outside of work, Tommy spent his free time landscaping, finding “collectables” at “sales” and working on small engines and other things that needed to be repaired. He loved vehicles and believed there wasn’t anything that couldn’t be fixed. Tommy was preceded in death by his father Clarence and his brother James. He is survived by his mother Jessica Guy, 3 children and 4 grandchildren: Heather (Guy) Kautz and Jeffery Phipps (Cameran and Maddie), Danny Guy and wife Heather (Mason and Aubree), and Bobby Guy and wife Brandy Reed.
