Tina DeLuca Knapp - Obituary

ina Lucia DeLuca Knapp passed peacefully on Saturday, July 15, 2023. She was born on May 18, 1954 in Washington DC. She worked for Vilatis Famous Caramels for several years and Woodward & Lothrop (Woodies) in the Fine Jewelry Department for over 25 years. Beloved wife of Rome Charles Knapp and they were married for 45 years . Also survived by her brother Nino (aka Tony) and devoted sister Nancy F. DeLuca. Also survived by dozens of cousins here and in Italy, and many dear friends, all of whom adored her. She was preceded by death by her parents Francesco and Domenica DeLuca. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her. Relatives and friends are invited to Tina's Life Celebration on Monday, July 24, 2023 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the KALAS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 6160 Oxon Hill Road, Oxon Hill, MD 20745. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 2800 Pennsylvania Avenue, S.E., Washington, DC 20020. Interment to follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, 4111 Pennsylvania Ave., Suitland, MD 20746.
