odd William Painter of Shady Side, Maryland passed away peacefully on January 29 following a seven year battle with Lynch Syndrome, a rare form of colon cancer, at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, Maryland. Todd was 38 years old.
Todd was born on May 29, 1973 in Long Island, New York to William (Bill) and Linda Florenzie Painter, currently of Harwood, Maryland. A graduate of Towson University, he also served in the US National Guard for six years as an E-5. He was a accountant and broker in his family business, Painter Financial and mentored young people as a camp counselor at Camp Letts in Annapolis, Maryland. A long time resident of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, he moved to Shady Side in 2006. Todd was a life-long Redskins fan, an avid outdoorsmen and deer hunter and enjoyed following the NASCAR circuit. He was recently inducted into the 2011 Annapolis Area Christian School’s Athletic Hall of Fame for excellence in soccer, wrestling and baseball, serving as captain in all three sports.
Todd was a devoted husband, father and friend who was enormously proud of his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 7 years, Marina V. Painter,
his two daughters, Sasha and Sonya and his two brothers, William Thomas (Tommy) Painter, his wife Karen, Troy William Painter and his wife Rachel. He was preceded in death by his grand parents Frederick and Alice Florenzie and William and Charlotte Painter.
A memorial service will be at 3 pm on Thursday, February 2 at Chesapeake Christian Fellowship, 377 West Central Ave, Davidsonville, Maryland. A celebration of his life will be held at Deale Elks Lodge 2528, 6062 Drum Point Road, Deale, Maryland following the service.
