Tonny Ray Dale Bray - Obituary

onny Ray Dale “Tony” Bray, a 28-year resident of Edgewater, MD, and previously of White Plains, MD, died on May 23, 2026, in Annapolis, MD. Born on September 29, 1959, in Portsmouth, Virginia, to the late James and Margaret Lyerly Bray, Tony worked for Ferguson Enterprises for over 30 years, serving in several roles including counter manager, warehouse manager, and truck driver. He was a member of Holy Family Church. In his free time, Tony enjoyed watching movies, taking long naps, and most of all, spending time with his family. He dearly loved his grandchildren and treasured the time he spent with them. Tony is survived by his loving wife, Mary Bray, with whom he shared 28 years of marriage; his children, Tony Bray Jr. of Summersville, WV, Heather Lee of Edgewater, MD, and Wendy Watson of Pasadena, MD; three siblings, Bart Bray of Newburg, MD, Lisa Dickerson of Fort Washington, MD, and Dorine Dixon of Lexington Park, MD; and five grandchildren, Noah Watson, Morgan Mountzalia, Finn and Ava Lee, and Lillianna Bray. In addition to his parents, Tony was preceded in death by his siblings, Terry Bray, Joan Moore and Brenda Snead. Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Friday, June 5, at 10:30 am at Holy Family Catholic Church, 826 W. Central Avenue, Davidsonville, MD. A private interment will be held at Mount St. Mary’s Cemetery at the National Shrine Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes in Emmitsburg, Maryland.
