Tracey Callahan - Obituary

racey Louise Callahan, 46, a 21-year resident of Edgewater, MD and previously of Annapolis, MD died on May 30, 2010 in a house fire at her home in Edgewater, MD. Born May 2, 1964 in Annapolis, MD, she graduated from Annapolis High School in 1981 and attended Anne Arundel Community College, attaining a degree in Phlebotomy. Tracey worked as a bank teller and then as a phlebotomist with Quest Diagnostics and later a Physician's Assistant. She loved animals-had many dogs and cats in her lifetime; she was an avid reader and was fond of listening to music of all kinds. She is survived by her son, Richard D. Jones of Edgewater, MD; her parents, Richard B. Callahan of Annapolis, MD and Ursula F. Callahan of Edgewater, MD; also survived by granddaughter, Kayleigh Jones. She is predeceased by her grandmother, Louise Farber Tolzman. Friends are invited to Tracey's Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD on Monday, June 7 from 6 to 9pm. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 8 at 3PM at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church Cemetery, 101 Owensville Road West River, MD. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the SPCA of Anne Arundel County, 1815 Bay Ridge Ave., Annapolis, MD 21403.
