yler is survived by his loving wife, Monica, whom he married on June 4, 2009.
Tyler Hudson Coleman was born on March 25, 1985, to the late Willie Steen and Sharon Coleman-Freeman. He was educated in Public and Private Schools in Washington, D.C. Tyler was a graduate of the Freestate Challenge Military Academy. He later attended the Connecticut School of Broadcasting which he obtained a certificate for radio, television and broadcasting. Tyler participated in an internship
at Hot 99.5 in which he was featured on a live broadcast. He also worked for Spinn City productions as
a Dee Jay. In 2009 he enlisted in the U.S. Army, and later married Monica (Riggs) Coleman.
Tyler enjoyed reading and he also played the piano and trumpet. One of his many passions was baseball. He was a very outgoing person and loved to attend family functions. Tyler had a passion for people and life.
He leaves to cherish his memories and devoted love for all, his wife Monica; his step-daughter, Shaniah; his very devoted grandmother, Shirley Coleman; his mother, Sharon Coleman-Freeman; his step-father, Kent Freeman; one sister, Sadia Coleman; two brothers, Tarue Coleman and Willie Steen, Jr; two nieces, Nina and Sakira; a sister-in-law, Mollie Coleman and four special brother friends, Stephen Barrett, Bryant Agnew, Stefan Wormley and Melvin Armwood and a host of other relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to Tyler's Life Celebration on Friday, December 14, 2012 from 1pm until time of service at 2pm. Interment private.
