Vaughn Byers - Obituary

n Friday, July 6, 2007 at Providence Hospital, Vaughn Bennett Byers passed quietly in the presence of her children, Sherwood, Cecile, Patrick, Renee, Billy, Phillip, Jeffrey and Michelle. She is survived by her three siblings, Sydney and Paul Swann and Gladys Austin. She is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to Mrs. Byers' Life Celebration at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 6160 Oxon Hill Road, Oxon Hill, MD, on Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Comforter-Saint Cyprian Catholic Church, 1358 East Capital Street, SE, Washington, DC, on Saturday, July 14 at 9 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
