Venicia Pineda - Obituary

n Monday,September 14, 2015 on her 89th birthday, Venicia S. Pineda, passed away surrounded by her loving family; she was the wife of the late Meliton Pineda; loving mother of Melve and her husband Jaime Velasco, Tom and his wife Lita Pineda, Ramon and his wife Rosalinda Pineda and the late Romeo Pineda Sr. and his surviving wife Aida; adored grandmother of Romeo and his wife Andrea Pineda, Jr., Roda Pineda and her husband, Keith Broadnax Bey, Marielita Pineda, Sarah Andrea Pineda, Melissa Rose and her husband Danny Polyasko. Step-grandmother to the late Annie Reyes, Joselito DeJesus , Jerry DeJesus, great-grandmother to Romeo III, Sophia, Keira and Zoe. She is also survived by her brother Eddie and his wife Andrelina Serrano and sister Gloria Palma. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Venicia on Sunday, September 20 from 2- 8 PM at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, September 21 at 10am at St. Columba Catholic Church, 7800 Livingston Rd., Oxon Hill, MD.
