ictor John Krisko, 81, of Davidsonville, MD died on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at his son’s residence. Born October 9, 1930 in Greensburg, PA to the late John Krisko and Angeline Hollick Krisko, he graduated from Greensburg High School and attended California University of Pennsylvania. Victor served in the U.S. Navy as an Electronics Technician Third Class from September 20, 1950 to June 29, 1954; receiving the Korean Service Medal, United Nations medal, Good Conduct medal, National Defense medal and in 2002, Republic of Korea War Service Medal. Mr. Krisko worked as an engineer for IBM, retiring after 21 years. His memberships included American Legion Post 226 in Mayo, MD, Veteran's of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 3233 in Sarasota, FL and AmVets Post 99 in Vandalia, OH. Victor enjoyed playing Golf, World War II History, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates and was an avid cross-word puzzle solver. In addition to this parents, Victor was predeceased by his wife, Barrie Jean Reed Krisko and a sister, Josephine Wisneski. He is survived by two sons, Thomas A. Krisko of Greenwood, DE and Robert S. Krisko and his wife Alyssa of Davidsonville, MD; two daughters, Valerie J. Kutchma of Hurrah, OK and Kimberly A. Nicholas and her husband Richard of Houston, DE; two brothers, Robert S. Krisko and Gregory Nieto, both of Lahaska, PA; a sister, Ann Adams of San Diego, CA; 6 grandchildren, Michael A. Kutchma of Moore, OK, Thomas J. Krisko of Wappingers Falls, NY, Christopher J. Kutchma of Beacon, NY, Jessica L. Krisko of Poughkeepsie, NY and Joshua D. Nicholas and Heather A. Nicholas, both of Houston, DE; also survived by one great-grandson, Frederick Krisko . Friends may call at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD on Friday, October 21, 2011 from 5 to 7pm. A private burial will be held at Fishkill Rural Cemetery in Fishkill, NY at a later date. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Highway, Annapolis, MD 21401.
