Violet Cameron - Obituary

iolet E. Cameron died on Tuesday, March 19 in Annapolis due to complications after a fall. Violet and her late husband of fifty four years, Joseph M. Cameron, were residents of Wheaton, MD, for 60 years and were very active in the growth of Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church located in Silver Spring. Violet was extremely proud of her military service in England and France during the 2nd World War. In addition to her husband, Violet was preceded in death by two granddaughters. She is survived by her four sons; David (Mary) Cameron of Edgewater, Bruce (Nelda) Cameron of Sparta, IL, Keith (Elizabeth) Cameron of Mohamet, IL and Philip (Holly) Cameron of Thornton, CO; two sisters, Ruth Hoffmaster and Melba Fatheree, 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. A graveside service with military honors will be held on Monday, March 25, at 10:00am at Lakemont Memorial Gardens in Davidsonville. A memorial service will follow at 1:00pm at Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church, 9545 Georgia Ave., Silver Spring, MD.
